Royal Selangor Yacht Club/ MUI Yachtinsure Racing Series. 

Cabaret 5 under skipper and JCC Re's CE Jeremy Camps is taking part in  Royal Selangor Yacht Club/MUI Yachtinsure Racing Series.  Recovering from a disastrous first race weekend Cabaret won one race this weekend (26.3.06) including line honors and one of the two races held on 17.3.06.  Lots of wind 20 knots and great racing including a blown out (destroyed) spinnaker and a spectacular broach leaving Cabaret flat on the water - in front of the spectator boat.  In one race, only one boat sailed the correct course.  JCC CE and skipper of Cabaret was unable to explain how he didn't know his ports from his starboards - for those who don't know the color of port it is red - logical for any drinker.  If the racing instruction say pass the mark to port that's what we have to do - not starboard.

JCC Re Group are involved in the marketing of MUI Yachtinsure - making insurance available to all yacht owners in Malaysia.

JCC Re CE Jeremy Camps has been elected to Royal Selangor Yacht Club Committee - to act as sailing secretary with responsibility for development of sailing within the Club.  New Commodore Dato Richard Curtis asked Jeremy to help.  The Club is relocating to a new site in Port Klang where a marina is being constructed.
